  1. This makes me so mad. It’s a rare, costs 8 friggin’ mana, and makes you chose between destroying three of your own permanents for elephants or giving your opponent three chump blocking and potentially Terastodon-killing elephants. Gah!

    Excuse: it’s a Johnny card.

But I’m a Johnny and it just ticks me off.

  2. You could just choose to give your opponent 1 elephant, it is up to 3.

  3. or none, it isn’t a part of the cost, it’s a ‘may’

I think of it as a land eater… once you have 8 mana, you could probably afford to chomp 3 of them and get yourself a small ele’army

  4. The self destruction is the way to go. Or you can even mix it up. knock off two lands and their best perm. you still have 2 to 1 3/3′s plus and 9/9.

  5. The Terastodon is a good card, you can destroy planewalkers (planeswalker is not a creature), or destroy small creatures and put elephants 3/3.

  6. This is a good card because you got lots of options with it. It doesn’t force you to do anything when it comes into play, so the worst the card can be is 8 mana for a 9/9. I just wish it had trample.
