Wizards + Sony create Magic the Gathering — Tactics

A few months ago the USPTO showed a new trademark registered by Wizards, ‘Magic the Gathering — Tactics’ and it was believed to be a new video game. Today’s announcement is just that. The following was discovered by ‘canadian_idiot’ on the MTGSalvation forums by viewing the page source of the Arcana page on Wizards.com. The below info was hidden from the main view, but it was still present in the page code.

Tied to this, at Pro Tour Austin, there was a representative of Sony Online present meeting people and shaking hands. He and Trick spoke for a bit, though their discussions never came close to discussing any product partnerships with Wizards.
