I agree that it does not explore anything, though to be fair I didn't claim that the first article was going to be an in depth format exploration. My original title for the article was "Taste the Rainbow". The next article will have two full decklists, one an attempt at a combo deck (as requested by Sheldon), and the other a deck that I've been toying around with for a while.

This article merely explains the rules of the format. It does not explore anything.

I made a couple of these decks online a while ago.. and felt like I should share an example of a full deck. I used the concept of the 2 of each dual land, since I play this with Apprentice magic, so it cost me nothing. :D

White:
1 - Aegis of Honor
2 - Serra Avenger
3 - Ghostly Prison
4 - Wrath of God
5 - Karmic Guide
6 - Adakar Valkyrie

Blue:
1 - Brainstorm
2 - Counterspell
3 - Propaganda
4 - Aura Thief
5 - Acquire (or Bribery)
6 - Arcanis, the Omnipotent

Black:
1 - Reanimate
2 - Do or Die
3 - Royal Assassin
4 - Damnation
5 - Beacon of Unrest
6 - Visara the Dreadful

Red:
1 - Mass Hysteria
2 - Fling
3 - Ball Lightning
4 - Anger
5 - Dong Zhou, the Tyrant
6 - Bloodshot Cyclops

Green:
1 - Birds of Paradise
2 - Gaea's Herald
3 - Groundbreaker
4 - Aluren
5 - Animal Magnetism
6 - Rhox

Artifact:
1 - Phyrexian Dreadnought
2 - Illusionary Mask
3 - Sword of Fire and Ice
4 - Chimeric Staff
5 - Al-abara's Carpet
6 - Duplicant

And the 22 dual lands.

As you can see, each of the colors share a certain theme for the most part.

White is prevention, destruction, and returning own permanents.

Blue is control of spells, and of opponents deck.

Black is creature destruction and reanimation.

Red is damage to opponents and haste.

Green is beefy creatures, and mana accel.

Artifacts is prevention, beefy, helping to minus drawback, and creature removal with the duplicant.

Hope you enjoyed my version of a RSW deck.

I made a slight mistake. With the no activated abilities that don't produce mana Mishra's Workshop would still be legal. My fault.
