Planeswalker Hunt Day 3 – Complete!
We’ve got more than half of Jace revealed, and today we get two more pieces.
- 35.694685, 139.699069 – Tokyo Japan
- 28.046919, -82.393963 – Armada Games in Tampa Florida
You may notice that the second location is home to our very own Ben McDole!
Here is Jace so far:
We already have the piece from the Japanese store, unfortunately it is in Japanese. There is a lot of speculation as to what the abilities are. We believe it is something close to what is below, but this is far from definite right now.
[-?]: Draw three cards, then put two cards from your hand on top of your library in any order.
[-?]: Return target creature to its owner’s hand.
[-?]: Exile all cards from target player’s library, then that player shuffles his or her hand into his or her library.
The second piece should become available at Noon EST.
Update 2:28pm: Unknowingly I got on the road minutes after the second piece was picked up from Armada Games in Tampa. It’s about a 90 minute trip and I had planned to arrive shortly before the store opened, figuring I wouldn’t get the actual piece but would be there to witness the excitement as someone won it. Arriving nearly on schedule I step into the store and discover they had given the piece away over two hours before, someone had been waiting since 8:30am to get it and they couldn’t see making the guy wait until noon. Four hours on the road for naught I fear.
I picked up photos of the display piece though and have updated the composite above to include the sixth piece.

fyi… brainstorming would be sick in standard right now.
Armada runs infinite events so I can’t say this is undeserved! On a side note it looks like the last ability is a time spiral type effect? Or maybe diminishing returns since it “eats away” at their library.
