Pittsburgh Midwest Masters Qualifier Postponed

Pas­times Inc. just sent out an announce­ment that their Mid­west Mas­ters Qual­i­fier in Pitts­burgh has been post­poned due to the weather. The event’s future date has not been announced but it is not being can­celled. Expect the new date to be announced within the upcom­ing week.

Here is the full con­tent in the email from Pastimes:

The Mid­west Mas­ters Series Open event in Pitts­burgh is being post­poned due to a major storm front com­ing through the area. www.Weather.com is pre­dict­ing up to 2 feet of snow to drop in the area.

After con­sid­er­ing the options we feel it would be unsafe to ask play­ers and judges to try to drive to the event — there­fore we are post­pon­ing the event until a future date. The Pitts­burgh event is not being can­celled, it will occur at a later date. The re-scheduled date and loca­tion infor­ma­tion will be posted within a week and you will be able to find that infor­ma­tion at www.magicmasterseries.com and www.professional-events.com

Everyone’s safety is our #1 con­cern and it is just not going to be safe out there. We appre­ci­ate everyone’s coop­er­a­tion and help get­ting the word out about this…
