Trick is the editor and head of ManaNation, leading it in is direction, editing, content and general plans. He also is the person behind the XMTG web comic. So his role really transcends any of the “lists” below.
Dan is a High School Teacher who does everything he can to squeeze Magic into his schedule. Between being a Father, Husband, and Coach it’s pretty hard. Articles by Dan focus on tips and lessons for beginners that he has learned while teaching his students how to play their best. As a player Dan has a propensity to go Crazy For Combos so occasionally these articles happen as well.
My name is Benjamin McDole and I’m a level 2 judge from Tampa, Florida. When I’m not teaching math at a local college or spending time with my wife I’m usually playing EDH at Armada Games or running some events. My long term goal is to make sure everyone enjoys Magic and especially EDH as much as I do. I’m a member of a few organizations, Team Lives in the Red Zone and the American Association for the Advancement of Pie (I’m the only member!)
Kelly Reid, editor of financial news site http://www.quietspeculation.com, has been playing Magic the Gathering since 1994. With 15 years experience in the game, his goal is to teach others to fund their gaming through proactive speculation and intelligent trading.
Sam Feeley is a Timmy-Spike and PTQ semi-regular originally from Concord, Massachusetts. He enjoys Magic, sports, cooking, and writing. He currently attends Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Mass., going for an associate’s degree in liberal arts. He is also stranded in the middle of Magic nowhere, where the closest FNM is 45 minutes away, and he has no car. Send help.
Andre is the main force behind the T:apped webcomic, heading up the art, the story, and the direction. Andre has been playing since the days of 4th Edition, when Shivan Dragon was still coveted and rarity was the sort of thing that required mystical scrying to decipher. He was a bad Magic player back then and is a terrible Magic player today, but he refuses to give up.
Lauren Lee, editor of Mulldrifting, has been playing Magic competitively since Conflux and in that time has developed a strong passion for the game and in teaching others to be the best players they can be. Sightings of her have been recorded at various events around NYC.
Russell is a history student, avid gamer and MTG blogger from Perth, Western Australia who takes every chance he can get to sling some magical cards. Here he shares his occasional insights into the competitive and financial realms of Magic: the Gathering.
She is the brains behind the entire operation, she is Trick’s fianceé and she the one who makes sure he remembers his pants in the morning. She has provided countless hours helping with events, brainstorming ideas, and supporting Trick as he got the site launched. Her value to the project cannot be overstated.
Devon Manners, is from a small Canadian community, with a strong Magic community. His unorthodox style and tastes make him stand out in local tournaments, but he is a regular there anyway. Although he makes consistent top 8 finishes at local tournaments, his skills are still very much in development.
Jimmy is an Orlando local who has written for ManaNation before but his main role is the rarely seen sheriff of the ManaNation forums. He keeps an eye for spammers and such. It’s a thankless but appreciated job.
Trick’s younger sister is a writer and aspiring journalist. He has called on her from time to time to assist in the editing of articles for the site. Though she knows nothing about the game of Magic, her knowledge of English is a major benefit.
Lee was co-host on ManaNation from 2007 into 2009 when he left the show to devote more time to his personal life and work. He wrote numerous articles for the site and was an amazing resource for competitive play and strategies.
Darren was our never seen video guy. He handled the shooting, the equipment, and originally the editing of ManaNation podcasts before parting to work on other projects.
