Magic the Gathering Blog Central

The number of bloggers out there talking about Magic the Gathering is growing every day it seems, and with it a very strong resource for players looking to learn more about Magic and the community. Here we’re going to collect as many as we can to share with you all.

The Starkington Post — Run by Bill Stark of Wizards Coverage and SCG writer fame, he has lots of interesting stories and posts concerning Magic events and pro level play.

GatheringMagic.com — These guys talk about all sorts of stuff from spoilers to theory to casual magic. Great stuff 100% of the time.

MTG-Realm — One of the first Magic blogs I remember coming across, this blog is a strong one with lots of updates. Maybe also a lot of ads but such is the way of the online game it seems.

Deathmarked — Another long time Magic blogger, he’s on Twitter and hails from the Philippines!

CasualMagic — Another Twitter user (@MrDirby) this blog is on my RSS feed so I can get updates as soon as they happen.

Computer Programming and Magic the Gathering — The writing by a programmer working on MTG Forge, it has interesting Magic discussions laced with programming and the issues he faces in his development.

Dragon Guardian.com — They focus a lot on spoiling cards and discussing them, largely a casual blog about Magic.

MTG Metagame — Jonathan Medina blogs about deck designs and has some interesting and competitive designs.

Affinity for Islands — A Magic podcaster and big fan of blue.

Gwafa’s Bazaar — Akin to QuietSpeculation.com, he is focusing on Magic finance info.

Do you have a Magic the Gathering blog? Or know of one we’re missing?
Leave us some feedback with the URL and we’ll see about adding it!

A few rules or notes about the listings:

  1. You need to have a vast majority of posts concerning Magic in some way. A normal blog that posts Magic sometimes does not count.
  2. You need to be regularly updated. 2 months without a post is grounds for removal.
  3. This is an unpaid listing, kept at the whim of the webmasters. We’re not trying to show favoritism to the bloggers, instead trying to benefit our visitors most.
  4. Reciprocal links appreciated but not required.
