Legacy

Legacy was cre­ated as a response to Vin­tage. Play­ers wanted a com­pet­i­tive for­mat which uti­lized the older cards in the set but did not have the ram­pant power present in the Vin­tage for­mat. Enter Legacy. Legacy per­mits cards from all core sets, expan­sions and pro­mo­tional cards (that uti­lize the stan­dard card back) except it has no restricted list — only a banned list.
