Duel of the Planeswalkers Expansion out Oct. 21st

Announced today from Wizards is the release date for the upcoming Duel of the Planeswalkers expansion. The Xbox game has received lots of accolades and is credited for bringing a large number of players back into the game. Matt Place, a member of R&D, whom we interviewed just a few weeks ago, was an integral part in developing the original game and this expansion.

The expansion will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade on Oct. 21st, 2009.

With the expansion you can duel Nicol Bolas and it also offers:

• Three new playable decks, including Tezzeret’s “Relics of Doom” Planeswalker deck
• Three new cards for each of the eight original decks to be unlocked
• New Two-Headed Giant levels for 2 players to work together
• Three new puzzle levels
• A new single-player campaign to unlock Sarkhan Vol’s and Jace Beleren’s new decks

Price: 400 Microsoft Points.
ESRB: TEEN for Mild Blood, Mild Suggestive Themes, Violent References.

1. i was told there was a free nissa with this game like the garruk card. now is that true or a someone lying to me?
