Update: CopySix, of mtg-realm.blogspot.com has posted a higher res image on MTG Salvation. The forum users have now confirmed that it says “And,” originally it was in question as to whether the last ability was an ‘and’ or ‘or’ for the token creation.

In today’s article from Mark Rosewater announces the return of “one of our most requested features ever done on magicthegathering.com.”

The Great Designer Search originally took place in 2006 and brought four people into Wizards, though the prize was only officially for the winner. It was wildly popular for people to follow along as the competitors design and fulfill challenges every week.

Wizards will be announcing the full rules and details on Wednesday, September 29th. They wanted to give plenty of lead in time for people to prepare for the first challenge, rectifying a mistake they made in the first run of the Designer Search.

We knew to expect these cards from the Elspeth vs Tezzeret Duel decks, but we received a tip of what these cards do. We did not have photos, but it seems that these have been spoiled on MTGSalvation. See below and see what the new mechanic “Proliferate” does.

Information is light on the product, the announcement is up on Wizards.com. The decks will be full 60 cards, 15 sideboard cards, ready to go for FNMs or other constructed Standard events.

It seems that we’re looking at the return of Poison counters with Scars of Mirrodin.

There are some very exciting pieces of artwork in here including Mox Opal, what looks to be New Elspeth, a Venser, and more!

Today Wizards released the card on their blog saying “What happens when you remove the ‘Arcane’ subtype from [Cranial Extraction]?”

Also they have the Mox deckbox on display, as pictured here. Inside are deck sleeves featuring the landscape layout using the new art for Mox Diamond. Inside this deck box is a chance to win the Mox playmat we spoiled here a number of weeks ago. We’re not sure if this is the only way to get the playmat, but it seems likely. Seeing it in person, the playmat is gorgeous!

Previously believed to be called “Mirrodin Pure” or “New Phyrexia” it was revealed on Aug. 3rd, 2010 to be called “Mirrodin Besieged.”
