Remi Fortier Given 1 Year Ban

As reported by TheStarkingtonPost.com, Pro Tour Champion Remi Fortier has been banned for 1 year by the DCI for “match fraud.” Remi Fortier broke onto the competitive scene when he won Pro Tour Valencia in 2007 at the age of 16 years old. First Pro Tour 2011 – Honolulu HI

@ZBeg, Magic writer Zaiem Beg, pointed out on Twitter that the first Pro Tour of 2011 appears to be heading to the island paradise of Hawaii. The link he points to shows the calendar for the Hawaii Convention Center which lists “Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour” taking place from 2/24/11 to 2/27/11.
