Rumor is cir­cu­lat­ing that the long-time bad-boy of the Pro Tour, Peter Szigeti, is about to receive a life­time ban from play­ing Magic the Gath­er­ing. Numer­ous sources in the judg­ing com­mu­nity have con­firmed hear­ing this rumor but it has not been offi­cially announced.

Grand Prix Washington DC

It seems that there has been a change to the Grand Prix sched­ule from Wiz­ards. We’re still try­ing to track down when the change hap­pened, but what had been ini­tially announced as “Grand Prix Bal­ti­more” has been renamed to “Grand Prix Wash­ing­ton D.C.”

Buehler being Replaced by Rich Hagon in 2010

Randy Buehler, long time Pro Tour web­caster announced via his Twit­ter feed that Worlds 2009, from Rome, will be his last tour­na­ment in the booth along­side Brian David-Marshall. He is to be replaced by Rich Hagon the offi­cial pod­caster for the tour­na­ments.
